Oncology & Cancer Care
for Dogs and Cats

In pets, as in people, finding cancer early can improve the chances of successful treatment.
S Animal Cancer Center is a veterinary hospital dedicated to cancer care. We provide cancer care from diagnosis through tumor surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy to recovery.
Following evidence-based medicine, we plan surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy for each patient based on age, body weight, underlying conditions, and the type and stage of cancer.
Our Approach
Each treatment plan is based on an accurate diagnosis, the patient's condition and evidence-based medicine.-
Diagnostic & Treatment Equipment
Our equipment, including a digital linear accelerator (linac) with a multileaf collimator (MLC), supports accurate diagnosis and structured treatment planning. -
Clinical Experience & Research
Our team's clinical experience and ongoing research, including by veterinarians who are members of the Korean Veterinary Oncology Society, inform how we treat cancer and manage pain. -
Patient-Centered Care
Treatment is tailored to each patient's condition, based on the diagnosis and test results, and takes your goals as the owner into account.

Diagnosis
Treatment starts with an accurate diagnosis of the tumor. Along with a physical exam, we run the tests each case needs, such as blood tests, imaging, biopsy and fine-needle aspiration. Veterinarians from different departments review the results together to reach a diagnosis. -
Tumor Surgery
The first surgery is usually the best opportunity to remove a tumor. Operations are performed by our veterinarians, who have experience with about 3,000 tumor surgeries, together with the S Animal Medical Center surgery team. -
Radiation Therapy
For fast, precise treatment, we installed a digital linear accelerator, the first in Korea. After Japan and Australia, we were the third in the Asia-Pacific region to introduce an MLC (multileaf collimator), which shapes the radiation beam to the outline of the tumor for precise targeting. -
Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy is planned around each patient's condition. Chemotherapy is an effective treatment, but the response can be weaker for a number of reasons. We plan treatment by combining surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy as needed. -
Hospice Care
Hospice care focuses on quality of life for pets and their families. It includes stress management, pain relief and a nutrition program to keep pets comfortable.
